Additional Information: Muriel joined the Women's Freedom League (WFL) and was arrested with her sister Arabella Scott for taking a petition to Downing Street on behalf of the WFL. She was released after going on hunger strike. She sympathised with militant methods and with the WSPU, but does not appear to have been involved in more extreme militancy like her sister.
