Family information: Married Lewis Clayton in 1872, who later became Bishop of Leicester. Sister to suffrage campaigner Alice Westlake, who also signed the 1866 petition.

Additional Information: Katherine was a member of the influential Kensington Society in 1864. She was on the executive committee of the London NSWS from 1867 and was a speaker for them, becoming vice president. She also became a member of the Central Committee of the NSWS when the regional NSWS societies merged in 1877.
